The Likhari Foundation is a USA-based non-profit organization founded by the Likhari family members. Sardar Bahadur Dial Sher Likhari- 1765 fought many wars for Maharaja Ranjit Singh against Mughals. Over the generations, the Likhari family has been involved in many social development activities, focusing on administration, guidance, and skill development.

Our endeavor is to guide girls from young age the importance of being independent. We encourage then to develop skills which can give them financial freedom. We believe that inculcating the importance of education and proficiency in any field of her choice is the only way to empower women.
